Hi, there! Thank you for stopping by my blog. I’m Chrissy Das, a Jacksonville-based freelance writer, editor, and efficient communicator. I create content for newsletters, blogs, and business websites. I rely on internal motivation to accomplish professional and personal goals.
Editing occupies many of my working hours. I edit product descriptions, newsletters, novels and whitepapers. My first editing experience was a positive one; I worked as a Peer Writing Consultant during college and helped students edit essays and projects. I grew most as an editor during my time as Editorial Assistant with Joggling Board Press. Their talented staff taught me the intricacies of publishing, ranging from what to do with an unsolicited manuscript to shipping a crate of newly printed books to an independent bookstore.
I accept new clients on an ongoing basis. I can create content for your website, blog, or newsletter. I am also available to edit content created by you or your staff. You can contact me via email at email@example.com or by sending me a message through LinkedIn.
I enjoy attending theatre and running with my husband. I volunteer with a few organizations in Jacksonville including the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville and 26.2 with Donna.
I use social media every day and in 2014 created my Social Media Manifesto. These are the guidelines I follow:
I will create more content than I consume.
I will keep my offline life full of energy and focus.
I will adapt to new technology and social media platforms with my audience.
I will respond to negativity with positive communication.
I will always tell the truth and keep my posts authentic.
